Overall

When you have paid the 20% deposit, you are entering into an agreement with Lincoln Boutique Cottages Ltd.  Please read thoroughly these terms and conditions so that you are clear on what you are entering into regarding the booking. Payment in full will confirm the booking 1 month prior to arrival.

Payments

A 20% deposit is payable initially and 4 weeks prior to your arrival date the full balance must be paid.  We will of course confirm your booking by either letter or email.

The payment methods are by BACS.

  • Basic food provision including a welcome pack of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, decaff tea and coffee, sugar, jams, bread, milk, eggs, orange juice and butter.

Pets

Unfortunately due to being let down in the past pets are not allowed.

Smoking

We as you all know cannot allow smoking indoors at any time.  An ash tray is provided in the garden and an outside heater also.

Cancellations

You are able to cancel your booking even after you have paid your 20% deposit.  As long as the cancellation is within a minimum of 4 weeks prior to your arrival date.  In this case, a full refund including deposit will be given.

In the unlikely event that the cancellation comes from us then a full refund will be made.  We cannot accept any responsibility, during your stay for any local supply breakdown ie water gas and electricity.  We will certainly try our best to contact the service providers with a view to informing you of timings.

Arrival and departure.

Our cottage will be all ready for you on your day of arrival, any time after 1400. You will be met with a warm welcome and a quick ‘show and tell’.  You will know the coded access the cottage and combination lock for the garage.

You are requested to vacate the cottage by 11.00 on your date of departure.  This is so we can provide our next guests with the same level of cleanliness and freshness as you received.

We ask that you leave our cottage in the same condition as when you arrived.

Liability and insurance.

We cannot accept any liability for and damage loss or injury incurred by yourselves whilst staying in our cottage.  Saying that, if it is deemed to be a direct result of something we are responsible for or negligent in then we will act.  Please note that the boiler and open gas fire have been assessed by British Gas and a land lords safety certificate issued. All portable electrical appliances will be routinely tested and certified as safe to use.

We have a lock up garage which belongs to the property around the back.  No responsibility will be ours for any damage to your vehicle as a result of access to it.  Other vehicles may park in the long stay/short stay car park at the back of the property.  These charges are payable by you and again we will have no responsibility for damage or loss of your vehicle.

Your privacy is important to us, which is why we will never release your personal details to any company. We treat all of your personal information as confidential.

We do not use your personal data in anyway. You have the right to request a copy of any information about you we hold at any time, and also to have that information corrected if it is inaccurate. Using this website and your personal details

You do not have to provide any information to us to view the Lincoln Boutique Cottages website.  When you book directly with us we ask only for your email address and mobile telephone number in order that we can send you invoices for your stay, and contact numbers while you are in residence at Well Lane.
